I just love it! It looks just like the pictures (so, pretty great).The newer models also easily support enough weight on top to make a napping spot for cats. Which probably a plus for me...Once assembled, there's also no hard edges on this. Laundry areas (next to the laundry machines, in closets, the laundromat, whatever) tend to be pretty cramped, and I have a huge skeleton inside me. I would often scrape myself on plastic hampers. Not the end of the world (I will stay strong), but I definitely appreciate the design on this hamper!I guess I could try to find some negatives. If you overstuff it hard, it will potentially unglue the little 'wood' slats, which will probably make it less sturdy in the long run. I've had two of these for years and they are fine, but it's still worth noting. A plastic one might warp, but it won't buckle like this one would under the same pressure. Also, if you have one of the older ones, the lids didn't used to be slightly over-sized like they are now. This means that enough pressure on top could bend the lid enough to let it fall into the basket.Still my favorite hamper. Makes you look like you have more money than you do for sure.Okay, I admit it I must be old or getting old if I get excited about a hamper. I've had my old hamper for over 20 years and the lining was so torn that it wouldn't even keep the lid open when I was trying to do laundry. I saw the Songmics listed and thought I'd give it a try.It came in a box and I had to put it together. I'll be honest, I thought I made a big mistake buying this because it did seem flimsy and I've never put together a hamper. (Again, I must be old)It was so easy to assemble and I absolutely love my new hamper. It's the perfect size, looks great and I love that the lid opens 3/4 of the way. It just looks so much better than my old one. The quality is great and very sturdy. It even has handles!This is a really nice clothes hamper. It is completely collapsible and is not flimsy. Takes only a few minutes to set up and is very sturdy. The liner can be easily removed for transferring your dirty clothes to the wash room and can be thrown right in with a load so it can alway be fresh and clean.This is a very nice hamper. It is very attractive as hampers go. I would give it a 5 star, BUT, it would be far better if it had wheels. As it sits flush on the floor it can be too easily damaged. It is light weight, and attractive, on those it is excellent. Otherwise, it is not heavy duty, so, it does take some care in placement. I like the "look", and am overall pleased.Very nice quality for the cost! Easy to assemble and looks nice sitting out in the bedroom. I was looking for something that wasn't plastic...my hamper is made of bamboo, which makes it relatively strong and very light. The liner is very well made, of a large size, and very handy as a laundry bag for transport. The item had no discernible odour...nothing fake, artificial, chemical. A great purchase.To use this as a laundry basket pretty much destroyed it. one of the corners came off at the bottom so its not properly wrapped around in one corner, it now seems to lean forward i have to push it back every now and then, its super bulky and moving this around is a little difficult.. the top lid seems to move alot, making the white inner lining show and just looks uneven unless you go over and make sure its flattened out every time.. this product should have been like $25 for the durability and quality. I wish I never paid $50 for thisI really like this hamper. It looks so much nicer than any of the plastic ones. And it's huge! A lot of laundry fits in here. It's easier to carry to the laundry room in the removable bag than it is to take the whole bin downstsirs as well. There are no downsides.I suppose I should've read the negative reviews.. I mean I had it even on my wish list but seems they closed that link on amazon cos it showed the negative reviews and when I found it again I didnt even read the comments. I am so disappointed! Do not buy!!! I mean it! Not even assemble and it has already tear and scratches. What a waste of money!. Tried reaching the seller but only can be done through their website and you have to call them!J'ai eu un peu de mal à l'assembler, mais ça, c'est moi.Nous l'utilisons comme panier pour les cannettes que nous allons rapporter à l'épicerie tous les quelques mois (au lieu d'un sac de poubelle lait dans le salon) et il est très robuste (nos chats peuvent sauter dessus sans problème.
